WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO DECORATE
Date: Wednesday, June 11th
Time: 8:00am to 5:00 pm.
By offering a few hours of your time (morning or afternoon - no skills required - lunch goodies provided), we can put the finishing touches together on an event our sons and daughters will always remember.
Not available to decorate? We need a few parents to make phone calls to the parents who have volunteered – this will be a day or two before so that we can confirm who will be coming.

MEMORY LANE COLLAGES
Safe and Sober Grad Night 2008 is rapidly approaching. One of the most exciting and endearing parts is the Memory Lane Collages made by the parents for each graduate. They are prominently displayed at the JCC that night for the kids to enjoy, reminisce, laugh and reflect upon. Although many students know about the collages, the tradition is to keep your child’s collage a surprise which adds to the excitement.
The collages are easy to make and will represent your child. You can use photos, art work, writing or whatever your imagination comes up with. They love looking at each other’s collages, especially if they include pictures of their friends. Lay out your work on an 11 by 17 piece of paper with a ½ inch border around the edge. It is recommended that you copy and laminate your work (i.e. at Kinko’s) so that they are more durable and that you can keep your original. The cost is minimal and don’t forget to put your child’s name on the back. The graduates will be instructed to take the collages home that evening and we cannot be responsible for returning them to you should they not make it home. Be creative and enjoy reminiscing as well.
Your finished collage can be dropped off in the school office or at the address below by May 30, 2008. We hope everyone will be represented on the Memory Lane wall. Thank you so much.
